Hi and welcome to my about page,

I am a writer, researcher, and reviewer for hire with 15 years of research and writing experience.  My past work includes:

• Developing research proposals and grants;
• Creating, directing and conducting data collection and analysis efforts;
• Conducting website evaluations such as: user- and IT-centered needs assessments; usability and functionality assessments; and, website use/user assessments (log analysis and other assessments);
• Writing technical grant and research reports and articles; and
• Providing reviews, edits, and feedback for journal and conference papers, grant proposals, and website content.

I worked as a researcher for the Information Use, Management, and Policy Institute at Florida State University for 7 years – 3 as an associate researcher and 4 as the manager for research development. During that time period we received nearly five million dollars in funded grant research projects. We also created and developed in-house research initiative projects.  In addition, I was a faculty member at the School of Library and Information Studies, University of Oklahoma for 7 years. For the past 2 years, I spent a year working on my current research initiatives and a year conducting Learning Labs and Makerspaces research.
